It was announced yesterday that a vulnerability was discovered in the vastly used WPA2 Wi-Fi protocol. This vulnerability leaves the potential for compromise if an attacker is physically within range of your Wi-Fi network. If compromised, the attacker would be able to attain sensitive information, passwords, credit card numbers, emails, manipulate data, and more.
However, Microsoft, Cisco, and other vendors are releasing patches that guard against this vulnerability and keep your network and devices safe. PCnet is actively working to ensure these security patches are installed and that all device configurations are current for our Pulse Managed IT Service clients. We will continue to update devices as other vendors release security patches.
